Drills Suck

More swim drills today.  I really, really, dislike them.  For me, they seem to be more about how much pool water I can swallow rather than teaching me some form.  It’s too hard to catch a breath, and when I can’t breathe, everything else goes to shit.

Good news is, that’s another week done and gone.  Over 5000 calories burned this week in training.  That can’t be all bad.  Whenever I get a little down about my progress (or lack thereof), I just think about fact that I swan and ran in the same day (or bike and swim, etc).  I’m already doing more than I ever thought I could do, and that…is amazing.
